Vithi vs OneNote: class notes and academic tracking
Your explanation of a concept and your record of studying it do different jobs. OneNote and Vithi are worth comparing at that boundary rather than treating every student app as a replacement for a notebook. Written by Vithi.
Keep detailed lesson material where it works
Microsoft presents OneNote as a digital note-taking app. It is a candidate for the explanations, examples and lesson material you want to collect and revisit.
Vithi’s academic structure covers syllabus topics, dated mock scores and portfolio activities. Those records help organise student information, but they do not make a detailed set of class notes unnecessary.
Try a chemistry lesson as the example
Keep the worked explanation of balancing an equation in your notebook. When revising, close it and attempt a fresh equation, then check the reasoning. Refer to the syllabus area for the topic and log an exam attempt in Vithi when you have an actual score.
A notebook page titled “electrolysis” and a syllabus item with that title need not contain duplicate text. One can hold the explanation while the other identifies the academic topic you are organising.
Decide what should move
Consider OneNote when the main requirement is capturing and developing lesson notes. Consider Vithi when the main problem is keeping subject records, attempts and activities together.
Do not paste an entire term of notes into a different tool simply to try it. Use one subject and one attempt first. Keep original documents, especially teacher comments and diagrams, until you have verified that your new arrangement preserves what matters.
