A 20-minute weekly planning review for students

Published · Vithi team

A weekly review is a small reset, not an elaborate productivity ritual. Its job is to show what is due, what is stuck and what deserves time next.

Gather the facts

Open your school calendar, course task lists and application tracker. Add new dates to one view and confirm any changes from official messages. Do not plan from memory alone.

Look backward for evidence

Which tasks were completed, delayed or harder than expected? Check practice results and teacher feedback. Move unfinished work deliberately rather than leaving it hidden in last week’s plan.

Choose a few priorities

Pick the most important two or three outcomes for the week. Break them into small actions and place those actions around fixed commitments. Reserve room for unplanned schoolwork.

Define the first action

For each priority, write the next physical step: open the problem set, request the missing document, or draft the outline. A clear starting step lowers the friction when the scheduled block arrives.
